I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Steph. You can call me Steph or Stephanie, I honestly like both which is why you will see the two interchanged often across my platforms and emails. I am a born and raised New Englander from Western Mass. My husband and I lived on Cape Cod for nearly a decade with our GSD pups which is where I started and grew my business to what it is today. Though back in Western Mass, I take everything I learned while living as a Cape Codder with me in all I do. My love for the landscape around us and constant need for creating are just some of those.
My shooting style focuses on capturing spontaneous shots with movement. I will prompt when it is needed and also let moments unfold naturally. I pride myself in making my couples very comfortable in front of my camera so the real them shines.
I bring a calm yet excited energy to your wedding day. I only know this because couples keep telling me how calm and stress-free they feel the whole day. This makes my heart sing! Especially as a type-A planner, and generally anxious person myself, I'm happy to take all of the stress out of the day for you. When working with me, the highest quality photos are a given, but the experience and being fully present is equally important. You will enjoy the day and not feel rushed to each moment of the day. I will make sure we stay on track and on time while also allowing you to enjoy all the in between moments that are special on the day like enjoying each other and spending time with your best people.
Enough about me, I can’t wait to hear more about you and your story!
Warmly,
Steph

“Not only is Steph great at taking the awkwardness out of a shoot and making it fun, but she also captures the moment perfectly and delivers breathtaking results.” -jamie g.
So, if you have made it this far, you are probably interested wedding photography and want a lot more information. Pricing is a good place to start but what about what to expect, how it all goes down, etc? Well, I am about to walk you through it all. Hopefully by the end you wont have any questions, but if you do I would be more than happy to help.
1. Lets chat!
I would love to hear about your vision for the day and how I can to make it as perfect and stress-free as possible. Let me know a good time to chat and we can connect for a phone call or facetime. I may send over a small questionnaire to fill me in on some details so I can suggest the best options for you.
2. It's a date!
I can't wait to capture your wedding day for you both! I'm so honored to be a special part of the day. But, what's next? I'll build your customized proposal for your day and send it over with your contract. After your contract is signed with your retainer paid, you're in! Now the fun begins.
3. Planning
We will go through and I'll help build your timeline for the day to make sure everything has it's moment and you can focus on the most important part, having the best day! This is usually 3-4 months out. I've built numerous timelines for many different wedding days and it is the best way to ensure your day runs perfectly.
About 2 months out from your big day I will send you a wedding day questionnaire to ensure we are on the same page for the day. Some of the questions may have been touched on but I like having it all in one place so there are no surprises later.
4. The Big Day
I will arrive early because that is just how I role. I like to start the day focusing on your details to give them the time they deserve. Wedding invitation, jewelry, heirlooms, etc. The special parts that make the day yours.
From that point I am with you for most of the day. We spend so much of the day together and you can count on me fixing your hair, hyping you up, and making you look fabulous. You need a break? I got you. Someone being too pushy or photo demanding? Shoot me a look and we're moving on to the next thing. I got your back!
5. The show isn't over yet
We hug goodbye at the reception, now what? Before any editing begins, I always triple back-up everything shot that day. What that means is your photos are safe with me. They will be saved in 3 different places before I even start the editing process to ensure nothing gets lost or damaged. While we are on the topic, I also shoot on duplicate SD cards in each of my cameras all day to also ensure your images are safe and in 2 places before I even leave the event.
After the big day I am exhausted, but I am also just too dang excited that I need to share a couple sneak peaks with you while the magic is still fresh. I'll spare you all the editing process details but you can expect roughly 2-3 time the amount of time I spent with you on your wedding day to be put into your post-production editing. This process takes me anywhere from 2 to 5 weeks depending on my current workload. I do all of the editing myself and hand adjust each and every image to make sure it is perfect.
Before you receive your high-res images in the mail, I will delivery your online gallery! These images are perfect for web sharing and you and you family can order prints directly from your online gallery.
“she was organized, easy to work with, and friendly with the guests. I have received many compliments on her work and have nothing but great things to say about her. She is truly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Her work is amazing and speaks for itself.” -Brianna s.

Frequently Asked Q’s
Do I need one photographer or two? I’ve actually shot many small and mid sized weddings completely solo. I’m confident in capturing exactly what I need and want on a wedding day. I have no problem getting where I need to be to get the shot. I will say, if your wedding day quite large and/or spread out to the point where I would have to literally be in two places at once then having a second photographer is the answer. This comes most into play during getting ready and ceremony. If the you and your partner are getting ready in very different locations at the same time. Another perk of a second photographer is alternative vantage points and angles during the day especially the ceremony.
How do I get my photos? Do I own them? You will receive the photos in an online gallery at a smaller file size, perfect for sharing with guests online. You will receive the high-res, full-sized images on a flash drive in the mail shortly after the online gallery is published.
For personal use, yes, you own them!. You receive a personal print release with your wedding package. This allows you to print your photos as many times as you wish. You may also share them with your family and friends, free of watermarks. I do ask, if you post them to social media, please tag us so new friends can find me. The copyright always remains with me. You may see your beautiful face on my website, print work, social media, and more. You are not authorized to publish the images to magazines, online blogs, or anything outside of personal use without my consent.
